Keren Bukan Tinggal Kenangan

Untuk kesekian kalinya saya mengingat salah satu tanda bahwa umur 30 tahunan sudah diinjak adalah kurangnya pengetahuan tentang apa dan siapa band yang diputar di MTV pada saat sekarang. Meskipun tetap berusaha mencari tahu, MTV Network tetap menyayangi penonton setia mereka era 80an dan 90an dengan memaksimalkan VH1 sebagai penghibur. Salah satunya adalah saya. Dari awal VH1 hadir di Indonesia, saya adalah salah satu yang asik berbulan madu di rumah dengan music compilernya pada saat itu Sogi Indra Dhuaja.

Banyak program dan hampir semuanya saya suka, tapi ketika akuisisi terjadi di MTV Indonesia, akhirnya VH1 tidak muncul untuk beberapa saat. Sampai akhirnya muncul di Indovision dan STV di Bandung. Salah satu sensasinya adalah berkaraoke di setiap lagu yang diputar. Kebiasaan VH1 adalah membuat program majalah yang isinya bias tentang banyak hal menyangkut music, pergerakan muda, gaya hidup dan selebritas. Ketika libur panjang Imlek minggu lalu, saya beruntung nonton edisi special yang sudah diulang kesekian kalinya, dan tetap saya tidak bosan
